This is a four-part seminar, meeting on March 5, 12, 19 & 26 | Register to Attend

Photography holds a unique power to capture and reflect the complexities of time, place, and emotion. Yet, when we look at a photograph, something more profound is at play. The finished image, unveiled, framed, and reflective, engages not only with the artist's intent but also with the viewer's perspective. Simply put, as we look at a photograph, it looks back at us.

Through collaborative discussions, we'll examine the intricate role photography plays in our lives and its enduring significance in an increasingly digital age. Offered in conjunction with our exhibition, David LaChapelle: Dear Sonja, we'll discover why the photographic print still matters and how it continues to evoke personal and universal meaning.

The Photographer's Mirror seminar will be led by C. Stephen Hurst, professional photographer and Director of Photography at Sawtooth School for Visual Art.
