Through collaborative artmaking and guided inquiry\, educators will gain experience using arts integration strategies that encourage students to ask meaningful questions and consider multiple perspectives. Participants will also learn to apply Visible Thinking Routines\, which can be used by students to build independent\, evidence-based conclusions from visual sources. \nEducators will leave with practical teaching strategies\, classroom-ready activities\, and a fresh perspective on using art as a catalyst for learning about the world. \nRegistration opens soon\n  \nWho Should Attend?\nEducators from all grade levels and subject areas are welcome. Designed around NCSCOS Social Studies\, ELA\, and Visual Arts standards\, the workshop emphasizes inquiry\, critical thinking\, creativity\, and literacy. \nParticipants Will Receive: \n\n1 CEUs\n$100 stipend for participating in the program\nMileage reimbursement\nMorning coffee\, breakfast pastries\, snacks\, lunch\n\nFor questions\, please contact Alex Brown\, NCMA WS Director of Programs & Audience Engagement at alexander.brown@dncr.nc.gov \nRegistration opens soon\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n Share:
