Our Point & Counterpoint 6th Grade Retreat explored the value of artistic labor, the value of opinion and choice, political currency, and the mathematical relationship between what we see and what we hear.
Point & Counterpoint featured ten visual, four craft artists, two film/video artists, and two choreographers selected for the 2014-2015 North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship.
This exhibition captured the originality, energy and excellence of this vibrant group of eighteen artists working across media and breaking new ground. Point and Counterpoint drew on thematic currents, dynamic differences and connections in their work.
