Accessibility
WELCOME
The North Carolina Museum of Art seeks to make a safe, welcoming space for all. We work consistently with local partners to gather information on accessibility needs, provide staff training, and increase accommodation during exhibitions and events.
The NCMA Winston-Salem Downtown is located at 400 West 4th Street, Suite 130 (ground floor). On-street parking is available throughout downtown, including many spots which must be paid for via the City of Winston-Salem’s parking app during weekday business hours. On-street parking is free after 5pm and on weekends. Several covered parking decks are available throughout downtown. The closest parking deck to NCMA Winston-Salem Downtown is located on 5th Street between Marshall and Cherry Streets.
Entrance to the gallery is free. Two single occupancy restrooms are available for use. A manual wheelchair is available, for free, and may be checked out upon entering the space.

Guide dogs and other trained service animals are welcome. Pets, therapy dogs, and emotional support animals are not allowed inside the downtown space.
