Art in the Park: Guerilla Street Art Printmaking

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Overview

Join us for a hands-on, outdoor printmaking workshop where the park, streets, and built environment become a studio.

Participants can explore the park and surrounding areas to collect textures — from manhole covers, grates, and other surfaces. Simple printmaking techniques will be used to transfer these textures onto t-shirts and other materials, with instructor Kim Varnadoe’s direction. This all-ages program encourages creativity, observation, and a playful connection to the world around us. No experience needed—just curiosity and a love for exploring textures.
