2nd Saturday: Dandelion Printmaking

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Overview

An experimental art-making session using beginner-friendly printmaking techniques

The city’s new public art installation features a dandelion, described as a “symbol of invasive hope.” Reflecting on this idea, participants can layer texture, movement, and organic form to create their own prints.

2ND SATURDAY is one of the Museum’s longest-running programs, providing opportunities for family members of all ages to create fun memories through accessible, hands-on art-making. Each month’s art activity is inspired by current exhibitions or events, and all materials are provided. 2nd Saturday is open to the public and free to attend.
