Hear from Erin Canady and Kimberly English, working artists featured in NCMA Winston-Salem Downtown’s second group exhibition Process as Practice: Three Artists from Western NC, as they discuss the ideas, materials, and processes behind their artistic practices.
English and Canady will discuss how thread, water, graphite, and other materials shape their creative work, from the ways individual parts come together to the marks and traces left by time. This artist talk offers an opportunity to hear directly from these artists about how process has become an essential part of their artistic practice and will conclude with a Q&A session.
